This project is a current assignment I wrote for college freshmen.  The goal of the project is to guide the students through the Design Process as they create a functional (and original) time device.  The students use a combination of hand sketching, AI, design refinement, minor group work (brainstorming), and eventually learn to fully create a digital file for the laser cutter.  After cutting the files, each student assembles an original clock design (so that every student's portfolio is different).
